A few months into 2020 - my new watt PRs, my progression in the last year!

Today i've restarted this blog.
In these first 2020 months i trained a lot and i have completed a few personal objectives.
Also, my watts have increased and also my V02max.

In this post i'll write about my recent watt PBs and my progression in the last year!

I used January and February to build a better, stronger, training program. I went 3/4 times a week in the gym and i had a few changes on my weight-lifting routine.
I was still focused on my 1-RM squat, but i trained with a more powerlifting-type program. I have hit a triple with 115 kg on the half squat so i was almost at 120 kg in the single max rep.
That's almost 200% of my bodyweight!
On Zwift i had two more watt pbs with a 303w on mmp20 (so 5,1 watt/kg), 289w on ftp (4,8 watt/kg) and 361w on mmp5 (6,0 watt/kg).
I have also seen a few 0,3 / 0,4 kg more and i was afraid to move towards 61 kg and that would have meant a loss in terms of watt/kg (and it still was a too low weight to produce very high wattages), so i thought more about what i ate.
Now i'm going towards 60,0 kg (on the 7 days avg weight).

At the end of February things have changed due to coronavirus.
We were forced to stay at home and that meant more hours of training: i entered March with 14 hours/week of training.
I had to stop going to the gym and i found a new freshness so that in these past weeks i've crushed all my records.

I like to confront myself with my last year and last summer's watt personal records and that's something amazing. Check this:

-5':
March 2019: 311w (5,06 watt/kg)
September 2019: 357w (5,90 watt/kg)
March 2020: 367w (6,08 watt/kg)

-10':
March 2019: 282w (4,59 watt/kg)
September 2019: 315w (5,20 watt/kg)
March 2020: 335w (5,55 watt/kg)

-20':
March 2019: 265w (4,31 watt/kg)
September 2019: 295w (4,87 watt/kg)
March 2020: 311w (5,15 watt/kg)

-Ftp:
March 2019: 251w (4,08 watt/kg)
September 2019: 280w (4,62 watt/kg)
March 2020: 296w (4,96 watt/kg)

What can i say. After just 1 year of indoor cycling and 6 months of Zwift, now my mmp20 is stronger than my mmp5 of a year ago.
I'm on a completely different level and also i've started to compete fair well on flat chrono courses. My mechanical resistance (the skill to be able to keep cycling with a good technique) has improved and i can push myself for a lot longer than what i used to do months ago.

For example two weeks ago i did this z3/ss workout:
-2x12' @266w, rec 4' @225w + 4x10' @265w, rec 4' @225w

On december the only thing i could do was something like:
-6x10' @235w, rec 4' @220w

So, even my z3 (and z2) has improved. Also, i'm almost a Rank A+ Zwift and i've started 6/7 months ago from Rank B.
I'm looking forward to see my new progressess!
